Complete coverage of Vemma’s 2007 San Diego Convention, "Set Sail for Success!"

In August, hundreds of Vemma Members traveled to sunny San Diego to learn from phenomenal speakers, mingle with Vemma Elite Leaders and find out about the world's healthiest energy drink, Verve! The 2007 Convention, "Set Sail for Success," was an unforgettable experience!

On Tuesday we welcomed the Vemma Elite Leaders, rolling out the 'red-carpet' for them at the beautiful Sheraton Hotel and Marina. That evening, they were treated to a luxury dinner cruise, which featured a bayside tour of downtown San Diego and complimentary cans of Verve! The fun continued the following day with a special invitation from Vemma President and CEO BK Boreyko to attend a beach party at his ocean-side home in Carlsbad.

Thursday's Welcome Reception was a beach-themed bash held outside by the San Diego Bay. It was the perfect way to begin the convention as Friday's session commenced bright and early with opening remarks from Vemma's newest Royal Ambassadors, Tom and Bethany Alkazin. The highlight of the morning was BK's unveiling of Verve!, the world's first healthy energy drink. Samples of Verve! were available at the noon break and received rave reviews from Members!

In the afternoon, professional "strong man" André Jimenez gave an inspirational message while demonstrating awe-inspiring feats of strength, including tearing phonebooks in half and breaking baseball bats with his bare hands! The day came to a satisfying close with a powerful message from Bob Proctor, an internationally acclaimed motivational leader and best-selling author of the book "You Were Born Rich."

Saturday may have been the last day of the event but the energy certainly hadn't diminished. The day featured an informative workshop with leading mangosteen expert, Dr. John Edwards, and motivating talks from diVemma Mexico CEO, Albert Macias, Vemma Europe CEO, Simon Grabowski and co-founder, Fred Stege. Vemma-sponsored, professional triathlete, Lewis Elliot, ended the day with words of inspiration, expressing his commitment to Vemma!

Saturday evening's lavish Awards Dinner was one of the most exciting we have ever had. BK officially presented awards to our two Royal Ambassador couples, Ruth and Jeff Elliott, and Tom and Bethany Alkazin. There may not have been a dry eye in the place and the energy was palpable. It was certainly a memorable way to end this powerful Vemma convention weekend!
