A Picture-Perfect Night to Remember

The chance to meet and shake hands with Dr. Mehmet Oz rallied unforgettable excitement with many Vemma leaders who donated at least $250 for this priceless opportunity. With over 200 leaders in attendance, Vemma’s exclusive cocktail reception set the perfect stage for greeting Dr. Oz and even getting a picture with him!

BK, Michelle Bouchard, President of HealthCorps, along with special guests, Mrs. Lisa Oz and daughter Daphne, mingled and helped celebrate the HealthCorps - Vemma sponsorship. Since last July, Vemma has raised contributions to help HealthCorps expand its national reach and meet its long-term goal of educating high school youth about diet, nutrition and exercise.

In anticipation of Dr. Oz and Daphne’s general session presentations the following day, many leaders who attended the cocktail reception had the rare opportunity to get their books personally signed by Dr. Oz and Daphne. The appreciation and excitement felt at the cocktail reception carried over to Saturday when on behalf of Vemma, BK and his sisters, Karen and Lauren, proudly presented Dr. Oz and Michelle with a check for $250,000 to HealthCorps! They expressed their sincere appreciation, and are very thankful to be working with Vemma toward the common goal of educating America’s youth on health.
